Messages that shouldn’t be sent — won’t be.
Your outgoing messages are scored across four dimensions — hostility, legal risk, emotional volatility, and child impact — before they leave your device. When a message crosses the line, it’s held. Three calmer alternatives appear. You choose.
How it works
You write a message.
The violation log is a permanent record. It protects both parents: if your co-parent misses a deadline, it is documented. If you miss a deadline, it is documented. The record is neutral.
You tap send.
The full analysis runs in under 200ms. Four dimensions scored. One composite result: green, amber, red, or blocked.
You decide what happens next.
Green sends immediately. Amber shows a warning with options. Red shows three rewrites. Blocked means you must choose one — no bypass.
Four dimensions. One composite score.
Every message is evaluated against a strict rubric designed with family law professionals to protect your legal standing and reduce conflict.
What happens at each score level
Low conflict risk — Message sends immediately. Green confirmation. No interruption.
Moderate risk — Warning shown. You can send anyway, view three rewrites, or delay delivery by 1–4 hours.
High conflict risk — Strong warning. You must confirm with a legal risk acknowledgement or choose one of three AI rewrites. A cooling period of 1–4 hours can be applied before delivery.
Message blocked — You must use a rewrite. No bypass available.
Three alternatives. Under 1.5 seconds.
When your message is held, the AI generates three alternatives. Each one preserves your factual content — the dates, the requests, the logistics — while removing emotional language and adding child-focused framing where it fits naturally. You choose one, edit it if you want, and send.
Cooling period. For amber and red messages, you can delay delivery by 1–4 hours. The message stays in your outbox. You can edit or cancel it before it sends. Most parents who use the cooling period end up choosing a rewrite instead.
Live tone preview. On the Pro plan, a colour bar updates in real time as you type — so you can self-correct before you even hit send.
“You never help with Emma and you’re a terrible parent.”
“I’d like to work together on Emma’s schedule. What days work best for you?”
The same protection for what arrives.
Our Incoming Shield blurs hostile messages before you read them. You'll see a filtered summary of the facts (e.g., "Requests schedule change for Friday") without the emotional attacks. You can choose to reveal the original message when you're ready.
Every decision is logged. Permanently.
Every message you send — the original text, the tone score, whether you rewrote it, which rewrite you chose, and whether you used the cooling period — is permanently recorded in an immutable audit log. This log is timestamped and permanently stored, and it feeds directly into your court reports. Your attorney can see exactly what happened, when it happened, and what you did about it.
The app told me my message had a high conflict risk and showed me three alternative versions. I used one of them. My co-parent responded calmly for the first time in six months.
